About Bob

Bob’s background as a professor and teacher enables him to listen, moderate, focus and communicate on complex issues, particularly those that have a variety of points of view.

His background in geography and cartography gives him a unique perspective on:

watershed and drainage issues;
zoning; and
neighborhood perservation.

Bob has spent time with Lake Forest Park residents, identifying their concerns and hopes as part of the outreach work with the Legacy 100–Year Vision Task Force. He will bring his skills and your interests to the work of Lake Forest Park City Council.

As Chair of the LFP’s Planning Commission, Bob is familiar with issues facing both residents and developers as they try to maintain the City’s character and encourage responsible land use.

As a Commission Chair, he is already familiar with budget issues and priorities that are facing the City Council this term.
